Every horseback riders dreams for galloping across the endless steppe, crossing rivers and mountains while they are on horseback. This offer takes you to the brilliant parts of the country and letting you to gallop freely through the endless steppe and mountain area of Mongolia which is already a best part of the horseback riding treks. You will stay every night with Mongolians and will have real experience of way of Mongolian nomadic lives.

Day1.Leaving Ulaanbaatar for Kharkhorin

After you picked up from your hostel or hotel in Ulaanbaatar, we will drive to Kharkhorin which was a capital city of Mongolia in 13th century for about 30 years, located in northwestern part of Uvurkhangai province of Mongolia. On the way to get to the Kharkhorin we will have a lunch on the open space of Mongolian countryside. We will drive forward to Kharkhorin after the lunch.
One of the Mongolian most attractive monasteries Erdenezuu locates in Kharkhorin City. The Erdenezuu monastery is the most ancient survived Buddist monastery in Kharkhorin, Mongolia. The Erdenezuu monastery was built in 1585 by Abtai Sain Khan and the monastery was allowed to exist as a museum, the only functioning monastery was Gandan monastery in the capital, Ulaanbaatar. However after the fall of communism in Mongolia in 1990, the monastery was turned over the lamas and Erdenezuu again became a place of worship.
Once we get there, we will accommodate in a town ger hostel. After having dinner in a hostel, we will have a free time hiking or resting around the town. (Lunch and Dinner)

Day2.Drive to Orkhon Waterfall

This morning after breakfast, we will drive along the Orkhon river in the valley. In the afternoon, we will arrive to the waterfall called Ulaan Tsutgalan /Orkhon Waterfall/, enjoy spectacular view of the waterfall and surrounding area, where we will have chance to take some beautiful photo shots of Orkhon Waterfall. The Orkhon river drops into 20 kms volcanic crack thus forming the 24 meter high waterfall of Ulaan Tsutgalan, highlight of the area. We are having dinner and stay overnight in a ger. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

Day3.Ride to Mogoit Hot Spring

This morning we will start our horseback riding tour. After having breakfast, we will saddle our horses and pack our staff on some packing horses, we will start riding to Mogoit hot spring. The hot spring contains sodium hydro-carbonate and sulphate and hydrogen sulphide, treatment of joint and nervous disorders and gynaecological conditions. We are going to have a picnic lunch on the way and ride again until we get to the Hot Spring. We are camping in this area. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

Day4. Ride to Tuvkhun monastery – Last day of horse riding.

This would be the last horseback riding day of our trip. After we pack our stuff, we will start riding to Tuvkhun monastery. The creation work temple established by Undur Gegeen Zanabazar in 1654 dedicated to religious studies and art works became the foundation of today’s Tuvkhun monastery. It is located on top of a rocky mountain hill surrounded by forests elevated in 2300 meters above sea level in the territory of Bat-Ulzii soum of Uvurkhangai province. We will have our lunch in the open space and will have dinner with all our local staff. Stay overnight in a ger. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

Day5. Drive to Elsen Tasarkhai Sand dunes.

This morning after having breakfast we will drive to Elsen Tasarkhai sand dunes which is a semi desert typed beautiful landscape with big sand dunes. We will have our lunch on the way and will be transferred to a next family ger. We are going to have an optional camel riding before dinner. After having dinner we can hike around the sand dunes. We can possibly see the sunset brilliantly in the area. Stay overnight in a ger. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

Day6.Drive back to Ulaanbaatar.

After setting up at the family we will drive back to Ulaanbaatar. When we arrive to Ulaanbaatar, we will be transferred to a hostel or hotel for tonight. We will have some time to do souvenir shopping before we go to an attractive Mongolian National Folklore performance. After we visited the performance, you will be transferred to your accommodation. (Breakfast and Lunch)
