Arrival day in Ulaanbaatar, You will be picked up at the airport or train station. Day2.
This morning we will drive to "Kharkhorin". Day3.
We'll drive to Taikhar Stone and Tamir river. Day4.
Today we will head off to White Lake and Khorgo Volcano. Day5.
The White lake is about 20 km long and was formed when volcanic lava dammed a local river. Day6.
We will do a full day driving to the Shine Ider village. Day7.
Another day of driving finally brings us to the Khuvsgul lake Day8.
Today you may do various activities such as swimming. Day9.
Early in the morning drive to Tsaatan (Reindeer) family. Day10.
We will drive to Ikh Uul village. Day11.
Drive to Urantogoo mountain which is extinct volcanoes enjoying State protection. Day12.
Drive to Amarbayasgalant Khiid, which is the second largest Monastery in Mongolia. Day13.
Drive back to Ulaanbaatar. Day14.

Detail itineraryDay1.Arrival day in Ulaanbaatar, You will be picked up at the airport or train station and transfer to hostel. Tonight you will Enjoy a traditional folklore concert by Tumen Ekh ensemble which is the best known place in UB. Day2. This morning we will drive to "Kharkhorin" In 1220 Chinggis Khaan decided to built the capital city of his vast Mongolian Empire at Kharkhorum and we will visit Erdenezuu Monastery, which was built in 1586, by a Mongolian warlord as part of his efforts to re-unite Mongols under the banners of Buddhism. Later in 1930-ies during anti-religion campaign under communists the monastery suffered almost a complete destruction of its temples. Today it is being lovingly restored by believers. Stay overnight at town guesthouse and sleep in ger. Day3. We'll drive to Taikhar Stone and Tamir river. On the way we will stop by Tsetserleg, which is the capital town of Arkhangai province. And we can do some grocery shopping here at the market. We will spend the night with a Mongolian family. Day4. Today we will head off to White Lake and Khorgo Volcano. Landscape is dotted with white yurts of nomads. Thousands of yaks, sheep and horses graze alongside the way. It is a popular destination to go on holidays for many Mongolians. We will spend the night in a ger. Day5. The White lake is about 20 km long and was formed when volcanic lava dammed a local river. It is surrounded by extinct volcanoes. The lake is perfect for fishing and birdwatching. Today we hike to a volcanic crater, the Khorgo at 2100m. From the summit there opens a splendid view over the whole region and the lake. We will spend the night in a ger. Day6. We will do a full day driving to the Shine Ider village of Khovsgol province ( aimag). Further north our route lies through the wooded slopes of Khangai Mountain range.. We will spend the night in a family ger. Day7. Another day of driving finally brings us to the Khuvsgul lake, the right place to enjoy the deserved rest after days of driving. This is the deepest lake in Central Asia and the second largest lake in Mongolia. Water of Hovsgol lake is incredibly clear and clean. We will spend the night in ger. Day8. Today you may do various activities such as swimming, hiking, horseback riding or kayaking. You may as well just laze around by the vast blue expanse of the lake. We will spend the night in a our ger. Day9. Early in the morning drive to Tsaatan (Reindeer) family. To see the lifestyle of taiga forest people. If you want to hiking the mountains, you will see the brilliant view of the Lake. In the evening free time in the picturesque places. We will spend the night in our ger. Day10. We will drive to Ikh Uul village. Day11. Drive to Urantogoo mountain which is extinct volcanoes enjoying State protection. We will spend the night in a family ger. Day12. Drive to Amarbayasgalant Khiid, which is the second largest Monastery in Mongolia. This monastery is one of the few monasteries in Mongolia, which survived the purges of the 1930s mostly intact. We will spend the night in a our tents. Day13. Drive back to Ulaanbaatar. Wonder around the city, visit Zaisan memorial and shopping time. Day14. Free days until your departure. You will be transferred to the airport or the train station when it comes!
