Detail itinerary

Day1.
Arrival in Ulaanbaatar, meet at the airport or train station and transfer to hostel.

Day2.
After breakfast at the hostel, we will drive to Uyanga village of Uvurkhangai province which is really close to the 8lakes. After we arrive here we will meet our horseman's family and start and get use to our horses. Stay overnight with them and will have real Mongolian barbeque there! Help their family take care of the horses and other animals today!

Day3.
Today we have ride to Shireet lake one of the biggest in other 7 lakes. Today we will have a great landscape and wild nature. This place is perfect for camping and photoshooting! This is one of the wildest travel destinations in Mongolia. Great for horseback trek!

Day4.
Today we will ride around 8 lake area. This is very attractive and much fun to explore the nature beauty and wildlife and 8 lakes in the vast valley and mountainous area.

Day5.
Ride another day to Shavart Mountain. We will have great chance to have photo shooting around this area. Overnight in Mongolian family.

Day6.
Ride to Orkhon waterfall.The Orkhon river drops into a 20km volcanic crack thus forming the 24 meter high waterfall of Ulaan Tsutgalan, highlight of the area. Overnight in Mongolian family.

Day7.
Today we will ride to Mogoit hot spring. It will take another full day. Stay overnight with Mongolian family.

Day8.
Ride to Tuvkhun monastery. The creation work temple established by Undur Gegeen Zanabazar in 1654 dedicated to religious study and art works became the foundation of today's Tuvkhun Monastery. It is located on a rocky mountain hill surrounded by forests elevated in 2300 meters above sea level in the territory of Bat-Ulzii soum of Uvurkhangai aimag. Overnight in Mongolian family.

Day9.
Today we will ride to Bat-Ulzii town where we will reach our car there. Overnight in Mongolian family.

Day10.
This morning we will drive to Kharkhorin. In 1220 Chinggis Khaan decided to built the capital city of his vast Mongolian Empire at Kharkhorin. We will stay overnight here.

Day11.
This morning we will visit Erdenezuu Monastery which is the first Buddist Monastery in Mongolia. It was built at the initiative of the most influential Khalkha Lord Abtai Khan in 1586. The territory of the monastery occupied an area of 400 sq. meters and is surrounded by a stone wall with 108 stupas. After the monastery we will drive back to Ulaanbaatar. On the way back to UB we will stop by some sand dunes.

Transfer to the airport or train station after breakfast for departure.
