Detail itinerary

Day1.
Arrival in Ulaanbaatar, meet at the airport or train station and transfer to hostel. We will watch the Mongolian traditional folklore concert where you can see throat singing, dancing and National musical instruments.

Day2.
We'll start with a full day trip to the Baga Gazriin Chuluu Ruins (1768 m from sea level). (255kms). On the way we'll stop for lunch at Zorgol Khairkhan Mountain then stop again to see At this ruins there are mineral water springs and trees a top the many beautiful rocky hills. We'll spend the night in our tents.

Day3.
We will do full day trip driving to Yoliin Am in the middle of the Gobi desert National Park which is a strictly protected area, covering 70 sq.kms. On the way we'll stop for lunch at huge flat steppe. The mountains here are the highest in the Gobi Desert and the rocky scenery is quite interesting, especially until mid July while the ice gorge remains. We'll walk 3kms through a narrow valley, Then 3 kms back to the our car. Stay overnight in ger.

Day4.
We will drive to the Khongoriin Els Sand Dunes after lunch time. The Khongoryn Els are some of the largest and most spectacular sand dunes in Mongolia. We'll see beautiful views, huge sand dunes and a cold water spring with a river that leads to two small ponds. Stay overnight in ger.

Day5.
We will climb and hike to the top of the biggest sand dunes. Also, if you wish, you may walk alongside the river for about 10 kms. We can arrange the camel riding trip on the serious sand dunes as well. Stay overnight in ger.

Day6.
We will drive to Bayan-Zag. Bayan-Zag which means "rich in Saxaul Shrubs" is more commonly known as the "Flamming Cliffs" of Bayan-Zag, famous for the discovery of dinosaur fossils. Stay overnight in ger.

Day7.
We will drive to the beautiful Ongiin Hiid monastery. We will stay overnight in our tent.

Day8.
This morning we will continue to drive through the grassland toward "Kharkhorum" In 1220 Chinggis Khaan decided to built the capital city of his vast Mongolian Empire at Kharkhorum.Free time for photo opportunity. Stay overnight in ger.

Day9.
This morning we will visit Erdenezuu Monastery which is the first Buddist Monastery in Mongolia. It was built at the initiative of the most influential Khalkha Lord Abtai Khan in 1586. The territory of the monastery occupied an area of 400 sq. meters and is surrounded by a stone wall with 108 stupas. After the monastery we will drive back to Ulaanbaatar. On the way back to UB we will stop by some sand dunes. We will be stay overnight in hostel.

Day10.
Transfer to the airport or train station for departure.
